Perfect Peacock

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know.

Regular readers will recall how much I LOVE the Blendability alcohol markers from Stampin' Up! If you're new and would like to take a look at my other creations, you can do so here). I recently bought the Perfect Peacock stamp and so this morning I was in Blendie heaven as I colored the beautiful image after stamping with Memento black onto Very Vanilla card.

The flowers, "eyes" on his feathers and his plumage are colored with shades of Melon Mambo. The leaves with shades of Old Olive. The rest the design is colored with shades of Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana.

After layering the panel onto some Strawberry Slush card I stamped the one of the sentiments from the Trust God stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink onto more Very Vanilla, before punching it out with the Decorative Label punch, which I layered onto another from more Strawberry Slush card.

I absolutely LOVE both the peacock and the finished card and hope you do too!
