Given Enough Coffee...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I've kept things really quick and easy for today's creation using the Perfect Blend stamp set from Stampin' Up!, and the card literally took just minutes to create using colors that are so appropriate for the stamp set, Early Espresso ink and Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card.

I LOVE the sentiment on the cup. I can't do anything without my coffee each morning and I like to think that yep, given enough coffee, I could rule the world temporarily ;)

Emboss Resist With Perfect Blend

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The Perfect Blend coffee cup from Stampin' Up! lends itself perfectly to stamping large areas quickly, although the stamp is relatively small (approx 1½" x 2½") and is therefore great to create your own background. I've taken it a step further and heat embossed it to create a subtle, yet beautiful backdrop for one of the sentiments from the set...

Amazingly Amazing Perfect Blend

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Today's creation teams the Perfect Blend stamp set from Stampin' Up! with other sadly retiring products and some of my favorites. Thankfully Gorgeous Grunge isn't retiring, because I'd joked to a group of other SU demos that if it did, I'd eat a Piercing Mat! I'm SO glad that it's not going! LOL

Golden Perfect Blend

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Perfect Blend from Stampin' Up! is one of my favorite stamp sets and I'd been planning the series I'll bring you this week for a while. Unfortunately the set is being retired and has in fact sold out, but I hope to inspire you if you did get it.

For today's creation I was inspired by the challenge over at ATCAS, where the theme for the week is to use white, black and gold in your card. I love the texture and dimension that the gold embossing creates and although it's not shown up too well in the photo, the Gorgeous Grunge stamp I've used to ground the cup has also been embossed in gold...

Happy Mail with Indescribable Gift

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

With all the focus on the retiring products from the out-going Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, it's important to remember that there will be a new Seasonal Catalog available at the same time, and with no way of knowing which, if any, of the stamp sets in the current one will be carried over into the new Annual, now is the time to grab any you've not yet bought.

One of my absolute favorite stamp sets from the current Occasions catalog is the gorgeous Indescribable Gift. Today I'm showcasing two beautiful Easter cards I received from other demos, my stampin' sisters Julia and Yvonne. Both are very, very talented ladies and I'd love if you could stop by their pages and show them some love.

Julia has used another of my favorite stamp sets, Trust God, and has embossed the sentiments. I love the way she's fussy cut the image and used the oval punch to create an aperture.

Yvonne has decoupaged her image and added DSP and the gorgeous lace trim.

I love both cards and will treasure them!

All the products used for today's creation are available 24/7 in my Online Shop. Click the images below to be taken straight to them.

This morning I mailed my own happy mail package which will hopefully arrive in time for a special birthday next week!

I'm currently working on my swaps for an upcoming event and it will be great to see my stampin' sisters and meet new friends too. I'm also working on a number of other projects that I'm having a lot of fun with! Both are keeping me busy, I'll be back tomorrow with a couple of sneak peeks, so I hope you'll join me then.

Out-Going In-Colors

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The 2013-2015 In-Colors from Stampin' Up! ~ Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar, are some of my favorite colors. Sadly they will be retiring in just over a month when the new catalog comes out, so if, like me, you LOVE them, I urge to stock up NOW. The out-going colors always sell out quickly and I wouldn't want you to miss out.

Perfect Peacock Spotlight

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The Perfect Peacock stamp from Stampin' Up! was ideal for coloring with the sadly retired Blendabilities markers, but that doesn't mean it can't be used in other ways to great effect. Today's card is clean, quick and easy to create. While I've spotlighted the bird's head, it would look great to do the same with the gorgeous tail feathers...

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Regular readers will know what's coming in today's post, but before you attempt to chose your favorite from this week's Kinda Eclectic cards, I've got another one to show you. This time created with another of Stampin' Up!'s soon to be retiring 2013-2015 In Colors, and one of my favorites, Coastal Cabana, hence the title of today's post...

Can you believe I got through a whole week without using one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Gorgeous Grunge? I know. I'm in shock and yep, I kinda miss it! Sorry, I had to get another "kinda..." in here. LOL.

Now for the recap and almost impossible decision. Click on the image to be taken to the post.

Kinda Beautiful

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I hope you had a great weekend? My week off from the blog flew by and I was able to get a lot of other things done. That said, I feel refreshed and the weather is finally looking and indeed feeling like spring now. You could say it's a kinda beautiful day.

My first card since my bloggy vacation is a kinda beautiful card, created with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and Beautiful Wings embosslit from Stampin' Up! Yep, there's triple meaning to today's post title...

Card: Basic Black, Whisper White and a snippet of Crisp Cantaloupe
Ink: Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe

Happy Easter

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The card I'm sharing with you today is my latest DT offering for 613 Avenue Create, where this week's optional twist is, perhaps unsurprisingly, Easter. I've teamed the sponsor image from Aurora Wings with a couple of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up!, Gorgeous Grunge and Indescribable Gift. I've used a favorite style too...

Yep, it's a twisted easel :)

Card: Pear Pizzazz (10" x 5" for the base and 5" square) and Whisper White (two 4 7/8" squares and extra for printing and stamping)
Inks: Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive
Markers: Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities (now sadly retired)
Sponsor Image: Easter Lily from Aurora Wings
Stamp sets: Gorgeous Grunge and Indescribable Gift (sentiments)
Tools: Labels Collection Framelits, Stamping Sponges and Stampin' Dimensionals

Create a twisted easel card base from Pear Pizzazz card by following the instructions in this post.
Stamp the spatter image from Gorgeous Grunge onto both Whisper White squares in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive inks and attach one to the inside of the easel.
Stamp the "Sharing in the joy..." sentiment from the stamp set in Old Olive ink onto a snippet of Whisper White. Die cut with the smallest Labels Collection die.
On the other, stamp the "Happy Easter" sentiment from Indescribable Gift in the lower left corner and add the panel to the easel topper.
Print the image twice and color one and a few flowers from the other with Blendabilities. Fussy cut the flowers from the second image.
Cut the complete image with the largest Labels Collection die and sponge Pear Pizzazz ink around the edges of that and the sentiment.
Attach the printed panel to the topper and pop the cut flowers onto the image with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Complete the card by adding the sentiment stopper inside with a couple dimensionals.
