Butterfly Triple

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

As most of you are aware, I'm not creating as many cards as I used to, but I am still at least trying to keep up with all of you and what's going on in the blogosphere.

I've followed Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge for years now and that's where the inspiration came for this card...

Ink: Pool Party (wings and sentiment), Tempting Turquoise and Lost Lagoon
Stamp sets: Watercolor Wings and Rose Wonder (sentiment)
Tools and embellishments: Bold Butterfly and Butterfly thinlits, basic rhinestones
Adhesives: Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots

#185 Favorite Color Combo at Brown Sugar
#216 AAG at Pixie's Snippets Playground
#299 AAG at Craft Your Passion

Shaped Cards for House of Cards

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

It's the 1st of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge at House of Cards...

While I'm usually able to visualize a creation within seconds of seeing the image, or reading the design brief, I don't mind admitting that this one gave me brain freeze! What??? There are TONS of possibilities with it, but nope. I was stuck!

My immediate thought was an easel card, but because I don't have any larger shaped dies and squares and rectangles are out, that was a no-go. Or so I thought, until I realized there is no size mentioned. Yep, THAT was the light bulb moment for me. Within minutes I reached for a couple of my favorite Stampin' Up! products...

I LOVE these miniature easel cards and hope you do too?

Card: Lost Lagoon, Whisper White and Silver Foil
Ink: Soft Sky, Pool Party and Tempting Turquoise
Stamp set: Watercolor Wings
Tools: Bold Butterfly Thinlits and Butterfly Framelits
Adhesive: Snail and Adhesive Sheets (retired)

Challenges...
January/ February at MHK Designs
#214 AAG at Pixie's Snippets Playground
#236 Freestyle at HIMCR

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.
