Mid Challenge Reminder for TRCC - Gorgeous Green

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

It's the middle of the month, so I'm back with a reminder of my card for The Rainbow Card Challenge.  We are a monochromatic challenge and while we ask you to keep your creations as such, we appreciate the need for neutral colors and or a hint of others.

This month our theme is GORGEOUS GREEN, though the former is optional, and here's the inspiration image...

And here's a reminder of my card, the details of which can be found on my original post...

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Majestic Elephant

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The card I'm sharing today is actually one of my latest Groovi makes which jumped to the front of the queue after I saw the latest challenge at Incy Wincy is Animals.  So, while there are MANY others waiting to be blogged (the recent break was due to lack of anything scheduled during a much needed vacation), this one had to head to the front, because, let's face it, I create and schedule so many cards in advance these days that it's hard to find challenges which fit the design!

The majestic beast itself was January's New Design Groovi Club plate, and I think my latest obsession of piercing within the frame really helps him stand out.  Do you agree?

Card: Unbranded White, and Clarity's silver parchment
Pencils: Arteza Professional
Groovi Plates: NDC Elephant, Mini Diagonal Basic Piercing Grid, Tina's Symmetrical Floral Round A5 Square, Linda's Butterflies A5 Square (flowers in corners and inside frame), A5 Nested Scallop Squares
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano Embossing and piercing tools, and exclusive scissors, Groovi plate mates, and Clarity brads

Challenges...
Animals at Incy Wincy Challenge
April AG at Crafter's Castle
Wk 14 AG at Polkadoodles

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

No, you're not going crazy.  I am!  If you're utterly confused by the title of today's post, please let me clarify things... today is a twofer post, and both cards doubly feature the Queen Mary Groovi combo plate.  After creating the one I shared with you last week (and receiving my special picot scissors), I realized the insert would actually fit perfectly into the frame without needing to be cut out.  Doh!

Yep, the second is created on colored parchment, which, I think, enhances the design beautifully.  I hope you think so too?

If you're on Facebook, please join my Creative Crew group, where I've posted sneak peeks, and will continue to share as and when I create anything new.

Card: Unbranded white card blanks, SU's Pool Party and Sahara Sand, and Claritystamp parchment
Markers: Spectrum Noir
Groovi Plates: Queen Mary combo and Tina's Butterfly A5 Square (flowers on the first card)
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano Exclusive Pointed Scissors, and brads from my stash

Challenges...
#15 AG at Crafter's Castle
Wk 12 AG at Polkadoodles
#213 AG at Artistic Inspirations

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.
