Stained Glass Tower Trio

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Today's cards feature the super versatile tall die in Stampin' Up!'s Painted Glass bundle.  They are standard folds, so I'm sorry if the title hinted at more tower fold ones, but tower is the best way I can think of to describe the die.

Do you think the bottom right rose on the last card is a bit of place?  You're right.  It's there to hide a stamping boo boo as the edge caught the card.  Oops!

Card: SU's Peekaboo Peach, Soft Sky, Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Markers: Spectrum Noir
Stamp sets: SU's Stained Glass
Tools and embellishments: SU's Stained Glass thinlits, and Stick It adhesive sheets by Ken Oliver

Challenges...
#24 AG at The Flower Challenge
#335 Use Snippets at Pixie's Snippets Playground
AG at Pause Dream Enjoy

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Creative Crew Showcase ~ Jeanie Ellis

Hi everyone,

This week's Creative Crew Showcase features Jeanie Ellis, aka Scrapbookingmamaw.  Jeanie is on a number of Design Teams, and it's through one of those, Crafter's Castle, that I met her earlier this year.

So, what better to include in her showcase than her project for the current challenge?  You can see it in the video below, but please click HERE for full details of the challenge.

I love playing in the challenge, and plan to share a card with you for it next week.

Thanks, Em and Jeanie

Creative Crew Showcase ~ MHKDesigns

Hi everyone,

After my unexpected blogging break last month, I'm back to regular scheduling... literally... to bring you the 2nd Creative Crew Showcase.  This time I'm featuring MHKDesigns.

Yes, my dear friend, Mynn's blog of the same name has been closed a while, but in my last DT posts for it, I did mention that her Etsy store would remain open.  And so it has, though there are now aren't so many items available.

At least a couple of my favorite digi stamp sets are, including Caring Crocus (click the image to be taken to it)...

The image is beautiful, but so are the sentiments, and here's a card I created with it back in April for the DT...

Another of my favorite stamp sets is Blessed Lily (click it to be taken to it)...

Although 1 of the sentiments isn't appropriate for this time of year, the others are and of course the image is.  Here's my card from the March challenge...

The stamp sets and papers in the store will only be available for a limited time, so please grab them while you can.  Us crafters ARE hoarders and it would be a shame to miss out on such beauties!

If you'd like to be featured in a future Creative Crew Showcase, please click HERE to join our Facebook group to sign up!

Thanks, Em and Mynn

Stained Glass Circle Twofer

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The cards I'm sharing with you today are two I created during my play with Stampin' Up!'s Painted Glass bundle earlier this year.  Yep, I'm sharing them later than planned, but to make up for that ALL my personal posts this month will feature the same bundle!

The dies are so intricate, but so versatile.  Indeed, although meant to be stained glass, they are great for the faux tile looks I've created here.  Hope you agree?

Card: SU's Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Markers: Spectrum Noir
Stamp sets: SU's Painted Glass
Tools and embellishments: SU's Stained Glass thinlits, Stick It adhesive sheets by Ken Oliver, and Nuvo Shimmer pen
