Mid Challenge Reminder for TRCC - Brazenly Black

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

It's the middle of the month, so I'm back with a reminder of my card for The Rainbow Card Challenge.  We are a monochromatic challenge and while we ask you to keep your creations as such, we appreciate the need for neutral colors and or a hint of others.

This month our theme is BRAZENLY BLACK, though the former is optional, and here's the inspiration image...

And here's a reminder of my card, the details of which can be found on my original post...

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Hummer in Flight

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, the days are rapidly drawing in, and summer is a dim and distant memory.  So, I thought I'd brighten your day with this beautiful hummer...

The plate was designed by the late, much missed, Jayne Nestorenko, and is the first of her designs I've bought.  I've also just realized that the other plates used complete the trio of Clarity designers...

Card: Unbranded white and ivory, and Clarity ivory parchment
Groovi Plates: Jayne's Hummingbirds, Linda's Butterflies (flowers in the corners), and Tina's Symmetrical Floral Round, Occasions Border, and Diagonal Piercing Grid
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano embossing and piercing tools, Arteza pencils, Clarity brads, and black pearls from my stash

Challenges...
#226 AG at 613 Avenue Create
#68 AG at Crafts Galore Encore Challenge
#101 AG at A Bit More Time To Craft

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Brazenly Black at Rainbow Card Challenge

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

It's the first of the month, so that means it's time for a new challenge at Rainbow Card Challenge.  Our theme this month is Brazenly Black!  Yep, this month it's the turn of the ULTIMATE in monochrome, though we don't mind a hint of another color if necessary.

And here's my card...

I kept this one really simple by only using 1 main Groovi plate and minimal picot cutting, but I think it's perfect for the challenge?

Incidentally, while I only ever post pictorials on here, I've recently been brave enough to "Go live" in my Facebook group detailing how a yet to be blogged card was put together.  So, if you'd like to join my Creative Crew, click HERE - please mention this blog in the entry question, so I know where you've come from!

Card: Unbranded white, and Clarity's black parchment
Groovi plates: Tina's Symmetrical Floral Round and Diagonal piercing grid (outer picot cutting)
Tools and embellishments: Clarity/ Pergamano embossing and cutting tools, Clarity brads, and black pearls from my stash

Challenges...
#99 AG at CardzTV
#171 AG at Creative Fingers
AG at TTCRD

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Pretty In Pink

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Today's card is another using my favorite rose plate and equally loved diagonal piercing grid.  This time allowing both to literally shine...

By now, I'm sure you'll agree that those roses are absolutely stunning?  They are also versatile... as every Groovi plate is... and I'll share a few different designs later in the year which demonstrate that.

Card: Unbranded white and ivory, and Clarity's ivory parchment
Groovi Plates: Linda's Roses & Lace, Diagonal Piercing grid, and Tina's Symmetrical Floral Round (barely visible square frame)
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano embossing and piercing tools, Clarity brads, Arteza pencils, and Nuvo Shimmer Pen

Challenges...
#225 AG at 613 Avenue Create
Wk 38 AG at Polkadoodles
#100 AG at A Bit More Time To Craft

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Peach Roses and Lace

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Does the title of this post sound familiar?  If you think you read it in my post a couple weeks ago, you'd be right!  With the exception of the small roses within the ribbon lace, which I've instead replaced with rhinestones, this card shows the entire plate...

Of course, I could have easily added a sentiment in the space, but to be honest, I didn't even think about that!  Ooops!

Card: Unbranded white card blank and Clarity's ivory parchment
Groovi Plates: Linda's Roses & Lace and Diagonal Piercing Grid
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano embossing and piercing tools, Clarity brads, Arteza pencils, and rhinestones from my stash

Challenges...
#36 AG at The Flower Challenge
#100 AG at A Bit More Time To Craft
#361 Use Snippets at Pixie's Snippets Playground (large snippet of parchment used)

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.
