Mid Challenge Reminder for TRCC - Magically Metallic

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

It's the middle of the month, so I'm back with a reminder of my card for The Rainbow Card Challenge.  We are a monochromatic challenge and while we ask you to keep your creations as such, we appreciate the need for neutral colors and or a hint of others.

This month our theme is MAGICALLY METALLIC, though the former is optional, and here's the inspiration image...

And here's a reminder of my card, the details of which can be found on my original post...

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Another Bird in Flight

Hi everyone,

The card I'm sharing with you today comprises something old (the bird plate), something new (the Princess Charlotte Lace Corner), and something blue, or more specifically 2 somethings blue (parchment and rhinestones).  If I'd borrowed something, it might have been more appropriate for a wedding, but nope, it was for a dear friend's birthday last month...

Groovi Plates: Princess Charlotte Lace Corner Duet, Large Garden Bird with Branch, and Occasions Border
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano embossing, piecing, and cutting tools, Arteza pencils (the bird is colored), Clarity brads, and rhinestones from my stash

Hummer in Flight

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, the days are rapidly drawing in, and summer is a dim and distant memory.  So, I thought I'd brighten your day with this beautiful hummer...

The plate was designed by the late, much missed, Jayne Nestorenko, and is the first of her designs I've bought.  I've also just realized that the other plates used complete the trio of Clarity designers...

Card: Unbranded white and ivory, and Clarity ivory parchment
Groovi Plates: Jayne's Hummingbirds, Linda's Butterflies (flowers in the corners), and Tina's Symmetrical Floral Round, Occasions Border, and Diagonal Piercing Grid
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano embossing and piercing tools, Arteza pencils, Clarity brads, and black pearls from my stash

Challenges...
#226 AG at 613 Avenue Create
#68 AG at Crafts Galore Encore Challenge
#101 AG at A Bit More Time To Craft

Brazenly Black at Rainbow Card Challenge

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

It's the first of the month, so that means it's time for a new challenge at Rainbow Card Challenge.  Our theme this month is Brazenly Black!  Yep, this month it's the turn of the ULTIMATE in monochrome, though we don't mind a hint of another color if necessary.

And here's my card...

I kept this one really simple by only using 1 main Groovi plate and minimal picot cutting, but I think it's perfect for the challenge?

Incidentally, while I only ever post pictorials on here, I've recently been brave enough to "Go live" in my Facebook group detailing how a yet to be blogged card was put together.  So, if you'd like to join my Creative Crew, click HERE - please mention this blog in the entry question, so I know where you've come from!

Card: Unbranded white, and Clarity's black parchment
Groovi plates: Tina's Symmetrical Floral Round and Diagonal piercing grid (outer picot cutting)
Tools and embellishments: Clarity/ Pergamano embossing and cutting tools, Clarity brads, and black pearls from my stash

Challenges...
#99 AG at CardzTV
#171 AG at Creative Fingers
AG at TTCRD

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.
