Happy 80th Birthday Elena - Blog Hop

Today, alongside the other Rainbow Card Challenge Design Team members, I'm celebrating the 80th birthday of teammie, Elena with a blog hop!  Here's the card I sent her on behalf of all the team, including Mynn and Mary Ellen, who are unfortunately unable to take part today...

As you can see, I've used both of Elena's favorite colors, sapphire and burgundy, in my creation which also echoes my DT card for this month's challenge!

Groovi Plates: Nested Scallop Squares, Universal Framer (alphabet), and Tina's Floral Layering Rectangles

Tools and embellishments: Groovi and Pergamano embossing, perforating, and cutting tools, Perga liner pens, and pearls from my stash

Although utterly adorable, last month's new arrival themed NDC Groovi plate from Clarity proved to be a little challenging when it came to planning my latest Creative Crew Craft Along on Facebook!  But, given this year's craziness, and with it everyone's need to slow things down into manageable pieces, I soon came up with this design...

Card: Unbranded white, and Clarity's clear parchment and Rainbow River DP
Groovi Plates: July's NDC, Nested Scallop Squares, Nested Scallop Circles, Large Net, and Universal Framer (alphabet)
Tools and embellishments: Groovi and Pergamano embossing, perforating, and cutting tools, Perga Liner pencils, Perga Color pens, blending oil and nibs, Perga glue, silver gel pen, and rhinestones from my stash
