Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
Thanks for such a great response to last week's post. As promised, here's my next Groovi creation, the first card I did using the Exclusive New Design Club baby plate featuring an adorable elephant...
As I mentioned last week, I have a LOT more cards to show you. But, if you're on Facebook, please join my Creative Crew group, where I've posted sneak peeks, and will continue to share as and when I create anything new.
Additionally, because I'm now literally back in the crafting groove, I'd love to send you, yes you, my amazing readers and friends, one of the cards I've created. So, if you'd like to receive a RAK (random act of kindness) card and I don't yet have your mailing address, please drop me a message via my Facebook Page. Please include your favorite color in the message and tell me when your birthday is.... actually those apply even if I do have your mailing address. Grin
Card: SU's Early Espresso and Crumb Cake, and Claritystamp's parchment
Markers: Spectrum Noir
Groovi plates: NDC Elephant and Queen Mary combo
Embellishments: Brads from my stash
Challenges...
Wk 8 AG at Polkadoodles
#212 AG at Artistic Inspirations
#281 Use your stash at Inkspirational Challenges (brads and card have been stashed a LONG time)
I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Getting Groovi!
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
Before I get to today's card, I MUST say a HUGE THANK YOU for sticking with me during my unexpected absence since the start of the year. I'm working with a new ghostwriting client, and although I've been MIA on here, finding my writing mojo has actually given me my crafty mojo back. I just need to find some time to get the cards into your virtual hands now. It's one of the reasons why this post is going straight out, but I'll hopefully get others scheduled tomorrow for the next couple months. Believe me, I have more than enough cards to cover each week for a LOOONG time!
Anyway, enough of me jabbering, let's get to the card...
The center part of this design was one of the first Groovi baby plates I purchased after watching one of Barbara Gray's YouTube Tuesday videos in either late November or early December. And a few days later I purchased the other. Yep, I was hooked instantly!
At the time I didn't have the appropriate scissors for the parchment, but I do now. So, you'll be seeing a LOT more of the outer frame in the coming weeks!
Card: Unbranded white 6" x 6" scalloped card, large SU!'s Cucumber Crush snippet, and Claritystamp's parchment
Markers: Spectrum Noir
Tools and embellishments: Tina's Daisy Parchlet Groovi baby plate, Queen Mary combi plate, and embossing tool (all Claritystamp) and brads from my stash

Mid Challenge Reminder for TRCC - Orange Opulence
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
It's the middle of the month, so I'm back with a reminder of my card for The Rainbow Card Challenge. We are a monochromatic challenge and while we ask you to keep your creations as such, we appreciate the need for neutral colors and or a hint of others.
This month our theme is ORANGE OPULENCE, though the latter is optional, and here's the inspiration image...
And here's a reminder of my card, the details of which can be found on my original post...
I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Orange Opulence at Rainbow Card Challenge
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
It's the first of the month, so that means it's time for a new challenge at Rainbow Card Challenge. Our theme this month is Orange Opulence although your card does NOT have to be opulent, if you don't want to! What we do ask is that it is MONOCHROMATIC ORANGE, but we don't mind a hint of another color if necessary.
And here's my card...
Card: SU's whisper white, cajun craze, and tangerine tango
Ink: Wild honey and carved pumpkin Distress Inks
Marker: Dark Orange 1 Spectrum Noir (to color the rhinestones)
Stamp sets: SU's Timeless Textures
Tools and embellishments: Birch Press big sugar script dies, Ranger Glossy Accents, and unbranded rhinestones
As regular readers will know, I love joining challenges at Pixie's Snippets Playground... indeed, this card is no exception! You'll also likely know that I'm finding crafting time difficult to come by, so am cheating a bit and also entering this card into Darnell's very special Thank You Di Blog Hop! I had wanted to create something special for Di, but given the sentiment on this card, made from snippets of card, it's also worthy.
Challenges...
