Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
It's been a really special week around here, not only has it been Love Is Kindness week, it's also been fancy fold week too and it's ending with a real SHOW STOPPER... A double twisted easel card.
Sound complicated? Maybe, but it's easy. The difficulty lies in trying to photograph it, so this is an image heavy and indeed long post to rightly do it justice.
The closed card might look a bit strange with the elements like this...
But all becomes clear when the first side is opened...
It's all in the twist...
View from above...
Such a special card deserves coordinating a box...
Card: Pistachio Pudding (8" x 8", two 4" squares, 9 3/4" x 5" 3/4"), Whisper White (for stamping) Best Year Ever DSP (9 13/16" x 5 13/16") and Very Vanilla (snippet)
Ink: Memento Black, Pistachio Pudding and Blushing Bride
Markers: Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi Blendies
Stamp Sets: Love Is Kindness, Trust God, Butterfly Basics (happy birthday) and Gorgeous Grunge
Tools and embellishments: Stampin' Trimmer, Labels Collection Franelits, Stamping Sponges, Basics Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals and punch of choice (for notches in box lid)
Score the 8" square piece of Pistachio Pudding at 4". Turn the card on the Stampin' Trimmer and cut at 4" down to the score line (alternately mark the 4" point and cut using scissors). Score each of the new 4" squares diagonally from the center cut out to the corner and fold.
Stamp the tulip image from the Love Is Kindness stamp set in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White and the snippet of Very Vanilla (only the newspaper wrap is needed). Color the complete image with Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi Blendies
Stamp the sentiment from Trust God and the birthday from Butterfly Basics in Memento Black onto Whisper White.
Cut the sentiments, the colored image and an additional one for the box lid using the third Labels Collection framelit (from the smallest). Sponge Blushing Bride ink onto all four panels. Cut the Very Vanilla newspaper wrap and attach to image.
Stamp the splatter from Gorgeous Grunge in Pistachio Pudding ink onto the two 4" squares of Pistachio Pudding card and the inside of the base.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals attach the die cuts to the squares.
To check positioning of the stamped panels, pick the card base up, hold the stamped square onto it and action the fold.
Apply adhesive to the inner triangles, and attach the image and sentiment panels ROTATED 90° as shown
Open both sides of the easel and attach the sentiment stopper with more Stampin' Dimensionals. Complete the card with Basics Pearls in each corner
To create the box, score both card and DSP pieces on all sides at 3/4", fold. Using punch of choice cut notches into the sides of the DSP. Cut the tabs and adhere

I've loved creating and sharing all of the cards with you this week and I'm struggling to pick a favorite. If I had to, I'd say it's today's. Because this is such a long and image heavy post, please click the days to see the others and see if you can choose. Each will open in a new tab... Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
All the products I've used for today's creation are available 24/7 in my Online Shop. Click the images below to be taken straight to them.
Whatever you're doing this weekend, have a great and safe one. I'll be back on Sunday with another version of this card and a photo tutorial, so I hope you'll join me then.
Hugs,
Em
