Aquamarine for 613 Avenue Create

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The card I'm sharing with you today is my DT offering for the latest challenge over at 613 Avenue Create, where the theme is Aquamarine, the birthstone for March. I've teamed the sponsor image from Doodle Pantry with a few of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up! and used a favorite style to create the card. Yep, it's a twisted easel...

Card: Coastal Cabana (10" x 5" and 5" square) and Whisper White (two 4 3/4" squares, a sheet for printing and snippets for stamping)
Ink: Pool Party
Markers: Wild Wasabi and Bermuda Bay Blendabilities
Sponsor Image: Hydrangea
Stamp sets: Gorgeous Grunge, Trust God and Butterfly Basics
Tools and embellishments: Simply Scored and Diagonal Plate, Decorative Label Punch, Basic Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals and Stamping Sponges

Print the sponsor image 3 times onto Whisper White (I used the 5" x 3½" setting on my printer).
Color the center leaf and around the edges of everything else with Blendies on the first image. Color all except the center leaf on the second and just five of the flowers on the last.
Fussy cut everything carefully and decoupage using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Score and fold the larger piece of Coastal Cabana at 5" and diagonally to create the base card.
Stamp the spatter image from Gorgeous Grunge in Pool Party ink onto both Whisper White squares and attach to the inside of the base and the 5" square of Coastal Cabana card.
Adhere the printed and colored image to the square card and attach it to the base to create the easel.
Stamp the sentiments from Trust God and Butterfly Basics stamp sets in Pool Party ink onto a snippet of Whisper White. Punch out with the Decorative label punch and sponge ink around the edges.
Pop up the sentiments on Stampin' Dimensionals and add one to the front and the other inside to create the stopper for the easel.
To add a touch of bling add 3 of the smallest Basic Pearls to the sentiment on the front of the card.

Your card is beautiful, Em - you picked the best way to show it off, making it into an easel card. Thank you for joining us this week on the Through The Craft Room Door challenge.
