Monotone Inchie With Moon Lake

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Inchie cards are great for showing just a small section of any design, big or small. For today's card, I've highlighted elements of the two image stamps from the Moon Lake stamp set from Stampin' Up! that I've shared with you in the last couple days. If you missed those, click here and here to see them.

My stamped "inches" are actually 1¼"...

Card: Very Vanilla (base plus snippets) and Crumb Cake (five 1½" squares, one 4" x 1½" piece)
Ink: Crumb Cake
Stamp set: Moon Lake
Tools: Tombow glue and Stampin' Dimensionals

Stamp the tree and lake image from Moon Lake 4 times in Crumb Cake ink onto snippets of Very Vanilla card. Stamp the bird and sentiment in the same color onto another couple snippets.
Trim the tree and bird pieces to 1¼" squares and attach to the Crumb Cake squares using Tombow glue or Stampin' Dimensionals.
Trim the sentiment to 3 3/4" x 1¼" and adhere to the Crumb Cake panel with Tombow glue.
Adhere the tree inchies to the folded Very Vanilla card base and pop the bird onto them using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add the sentiment to the card below the inchies.

  1. Composing inchies is not easy Em. You did a very nice job with this one. The balance is excellent and THAT is what is hard. Using images that compliment and using them in a balance composition. - Jim
