Embossing and/or Colors for House of Cards

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know! Happy New Year!

I'm incredibly honored to have been asked to continue on the design team at House of Cards for another 6 month term! Our theme this month would normally be appropriate for the winter, but this one has been unusually warm with not a snowflake in sight!

There are two choices this month, to use embossing and/ or the color palette below...

However, immediately I saw the image it screamed at me to use my as yet never before used (NBUS) window die from Stampin' Up! SOOO I'm not only using embossing and the colors, but I've also pretty much CASE'd the image too...


Card: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow and Vellum
Ink: Soft Sky (curtain detail)
Stamp set: Happy Scenes (I used the snow stamp for the curtain detail)
Tools: Brick Wall TIEF, Hearth and Home Thinlits, Deco Labels Framelits, Bird Builder Punch
Adhesive: Tombow and Stampin' Dimensionals

    I love how you used three areas of inspiration. The colors are so soft and pretty. The embossed brick adds lots of cool texture. And the window scene looks like the inspiration photo.
