Quad Easel Pictorial

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Today's pictorial is the one I promised when I showed you the Easter Table Centerpiece. By it's nature the post is a long and picture heavy one, but I promise it's worth it! Although it looks complicated the entire project takes less than an hour to create and the result is stunning.

Card: 6" square base card (Pool Party used here), 5 3/4" x 2 7/8" (4), 2 7/8" squares (4), plus extras for decoration (see end of post for details)
Tools and embellishments: Stampin' Trimmer
Adhesives: Tombow and Stampin' Dimensionals

Using your trimmer, score the 4 rectangle pieces at 2 7/8", turn and score diagonally as shown. Alternatively use a ruler and stylus or diagonal plate

Burnish both scorelines as mountain folds

Attach the 2 7/8" squares to the easel bases. I only do one layer toppers so have embossed mine first

Attach embellishments to the toppers and add the stoppers using Stampin' Dimensionals

Attach the individual easels to the outer edge of the 6" base card using Stampin' Dimensionals, rotating after every addition. There will be 1/4" of the base visible in the center

Box...
Card: 7 7/8" square for base (Thick Whisper White used here), 8" square for lid (Pool Party used here)
Tools: Simply Scored and stylus and Paper Snips
Adhesive: Tombow

Score both pieces at 3/8" and 7/8" on all 4 sides. Top

Base

Burnish the scorelines and notch in the corners. Apologies for not photographing at that point. Pic below shows the vertical sides already adhered and the detail added to the lid

The "double wall" box gives a much stronger and more professional finish to the 1/2" deep box. Note the easels will need some gentle manipulation to stand up

Completed box with quad easel safely inside

Additional completion info
Card: Soft Sky and Whisper White
Ink: Soft Sky and Pool Party
Stamp set: Watercolor Wings
Tools and Embellishments: Butterfly TIEF, Bold Butterfly and Butterfly Thinlits, Bitty Butterfly punch

I'll be back on Friday with the mini easel pictorial, so I hope you'll join me then.
