Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
The card I'm sharing today is the one I demoed during my FB live in early December...
The Spirograph style embroidery was a blast from the past for me, but having not done any for years, it was even more fun this time around! And embroidering the butterfly into place was a whole other matter with numerous people watching my every move, but it was still fun!
Card: Unbranded white blank and kraft (backing the parchment), and Clarity's purple parchment
Groovi Plates: Nested Scallop Squares, Tina's Embroidery Butterflies (inner frame and embroidery placement), and Tina's Butterfly Fun A6 baby plate (yep, Ms. Cox is as mad about butterflies as I am!)
Tools and embellishments: Pergamano embossing and piercing tools, #12 needle, and gold Madeira Embroidery thread
Challenges...
#372 Use Snippets at Pixie's Snippets Playground (the butterfly is literally snipped from a snippet!)
AG at TTCRD
#27 AG at Crafter's Castle
I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Incredible! I have done this myself and it is not easy to keep the tension even to prevent the medium from warping. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteEm!! This is just fabulous. Love, love love what you've made. Sigh, I made a few huge wall hangings on covered chipboard in the long distant past - one was a penny farthing on black velvet and this reminds me so much of that.
