It's the first of the month, so it means it's time for a new challenge at Rainbow Card Challenge. Our theme this month is Purely Plum, and please, if you must, use only a hint of a preferably neutral color. After all, we are a monochromatic challenge!
The card was created with a then new to me duet plate, but instead of threading it with ribbon, I used offcuts of the parchment, showcasing the color flooded side. I then attached the panel directly to the card base by hiding double sided tape behind the faux ribbon

Tools and embellishments: Groovi and Pergamano embossing, perforating and cutting tools, and a gold Posca paint pen

ReplyDeleteWe had some minor cellar flooding but we are both OK. Our little town saw some major flooding but further downstream they had record flooding. I have not seen any pictures of the local damage but it is not good.
