I was lucky enough to win the image used in today's card in challenge sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle a couple months ago, along with a few others which I've not yet created anything with. I've always loved the character, Rory, since I first came across her during my time on the DT of 613 Avenue Create, so for me she was an obvious selection as part of my prize.
I've colored her up in my sister, Gayle's, favorite colors, and indeed to look like the incredible lady herself. Why incredible? Having overcome a number of physical and mental challenges in recent years, she's now battling an incredibly rare and aggressive breast cancer.
I know I don't need to ask, but please send up a prayer and or positive thought for her.
