While QACAS cards, such as those I shared Monday, are great for mass makes, I wanted to step up the designs for some special cards.  But instead of stepping UP, I stepped these beauties OUT, with Z folds...

For Another Deer One

You might have realized I have a bit of an obsession with Z fold cards?  They are so easy to create and look stunning, so I challenge anyone to not enjoy creating them!

Today's card was created in honor of a dear friend, Jim's birthday earlier this month...

Jim and his wife, Jill, are also good friends of Darnell.  Knowing they would have loved to have met with her when I did in July, I couldn't leave them out of the fun.  As soon as plans were made, I knew I would wear the same scarf that I gave Jill for her birthday last year, having bought us identical ones at the time.  Then, as I prepared everyone's gifts, I created one for them too; Port Sunlight guidebook, card and DVD.  All were sent with Jim's birthday card and I'm honored to have been able to include them in what was a wonderful day.

Thankful Thoughts with Playful Backgrounds

Today's card is another sneak peek full of items that will be available June 1st. I've teamed Thankful Thoughts with the Playful Backgrounds stamp set, and I can say that it has already become an instant favorite. The ink I've used is one of the incoming In Colors, Dapper Denim and again, it's an instant favorite with me. The dies are also new, Layering Squares.
