The AMAZINGLY talented and extremely generous Darnell has a new NBUS challenge and with perfect timing too! I've just taken delivery of the gorgeous Delicate Ornaments Thinlits dies and Embellished Ornaments stamp set from Stampin' Up! I had to have a play with both, as well as some of the other goodies I got in the same parcel...

Corner Garden Happy Mail

The card I'm sharing with you today is one I received a while back in the mail from my Stampin' Sister Yvonne from The Paper Haven. I don't mind admitting that I was blown away and brought to tears by the stunning beauty of the card...

Yvonne has embossed the Corner Garden stamp from Stampin' Up! in white and colored it with various inks, using a blender pen.

Faux Stitching Tips for House of Cards

Border stamps are great for adding faux stitching to your project. They are quick and easy to use and aren't just for around the edges, they can be used to create great backgrounds too! Here I've used the same stamp set, Bohemian Borders from Stampin' Up!, as in my original card (see below for that one), to give you another example of how they can be used...

There are a couple others in the set that would work really well as frames and I'll be sharing another card with you, using those images, later in the month.

The project I'm sharing with you today is in fact one of 3 journals that I've stamped with a couple of my all-time favorite stamps from Stampin' Up!, Blended Bloom and Gorgeous Grunge. I did them months ago, long before the Labels Collection die and Skinny Mini Alphabet stamps retired, so I'm sorry it's taken me so long to share them with you!

Marble Effect Mini Cards

I've got a special treat for you today. I'm sharing not one, not two, but three mini cards! Well, if I can't spoil you, who can? ;) Each card has been created using a left over die cut panel from a project that I can't yet show you, but I promise THAT project will be worth the wait!
