Coffee & Friends TRULY are the Perfect Blend

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Did you miss me? I sure missed each of you! I had a really relaxing vacation and attending the Stampin' Up! Regional in Telford on Saturday was the perfect ending to my time off!

The card, or rather card front, that I'm sharing with you is the swap I created for the event. Regular readers will know how much I absolutely LOVE the Perfect Blend stamp set and I was gutted when I saw it on the retiring list. I'd got the set in my starter kit when I joined SU and with Telford being my first event, I decided to use it anyway. I made 60 swaps and also added a cup to my name badge, so I fussy cut 121 cups, lids and wraps! Cutting and putting them together took over 7 hours, but it was WELL worth it...

Card: Pear Pizzazz, Pistachio Pudding, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake

Given Enough Coffee...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I've kept things really quick and easy for today's creation using the Perfect Blend stamp set from Stampin' Up!, and the card literally took just minutes to create using colors that are so appropriate for the stamp set, Early Espresso ink and Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card.

I LOVE the sentiment on the cup. I can't do anything without my coffee each morning and I like to think that yep, given enough coffee, I could rule the world temporarily ;)

Emboss Resist With Perfect Blend

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The Perfect Blend coffee cup from Stampin' Up! lends itself perfectly to stamping large areas quickly, although the stamp is relatively small (approx 1½" x 2½") and is therefore great to create your own background. I've taken it a step further and heat embossed it to create a subtle, yet beautiful backdrop for one of the sentiments from the set...

Ink: Versamark and Pool Party

Tools and embellishments: White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Heat tool, stamping sponges and Decorative Label punch

Golden Perfect Blend

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Perfect Blend from Stampin' Up! is one of my favorite stamp sets and I'd been planning the series I'll bring you this week for a while. Unfortunately the set is being retired and has in fact sold out, but I hope to inspire you if you did get it.

For today's creation I was inspired by the challenge over at ATCAS, where the theme for the week is to use white, black and gold in your card. I love the texture and dimension that the gold embossing creates and although it's not shown up too well in the photo, the Gorgeous Grunge stamp I've used to ground the cup has also been embossed in gold...

Card: Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Versamark
Stamp sets: Perfect Blend and Gorgeous Grunge
Tools and embellishments: Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and Heat Tool, Scalloped Oval Punch
Adhesive: Stampin' Dimensionals

Christmas Coffee

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Can you believe that Christmas Day is now just two weeks away? I know, me either. Eek! Amid all the hustle and bustle of preparing for the holidays grabbing a coffee with friends or family takes on even more meaning for me.

The card I'm sharing today is perfect for those pre-Christmas drinks, or indeed any time of year. I've teamed one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up!, Perfect Blend, with the gorgeous All Is Calm DSP...

Together with a touch of Pistachio Pudding and Crumb Cake, the card reminds me of the peppermint beverages available at a well known coffee shop. It is perfect for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop happening over at Tsuruta Designs where I'm linking up to and also the End of Term hop at House of Cards.

Perfect Blend #2

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know!

This post is one I've scheduled due to my internet only being connected today in my new apartment, although I'm hoping that by the time it goes live I'll be back online!

Today's card is the second of two created using the Perfect Blend stamp set, the other can be seen here.

Both cards follow a similar recipe...
Colored base card folded tent style ~ Cherry Cobbler here
Very Vanilla panel stamped with 2 of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps
Perfect Blend stamped on Very Vanilla and pieced with base color
Tag Talk sentiment stamp punched with the Bracket Label

For this card I stamped the background in Crumb Cake and the coffee cups and sentiment in Rich Razzleberry

All the products used are available 24/7 in my Online Shop. Click the images below to be taken straight to them.

If everything has gone to plan with the move I'll be back tomorrow with another card and perhaps some pix of the new apartment, so I hope you'll join me then.
