Sprinkles of Life EPB Box

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Today's project is the Easter gift I made for Julia's family. Yes, I was inspired by the one I created for her team training, which you can see here.

The box for the top...

Card: Blushing Bride, Whisper White, and lots of snippetes of Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla
Ink: Blushing Bride, Soft Sky and Crumb Cake
Stamp sets: Watercolor Wings (sentiment) and Sprinkles of Life
Tools: Envelope Punch Board and Tree Builder Punch (bundled with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set)
Adhesive: Sticky Strip (retired)

Yes, there are 6 fussy cut ice cream cones (1 on the card in the top box) on each. Yes, I made 15 of the boxes. I'll let you do the math, because I lost count! Grin.

Quad Easel Easter Table Centerpiece

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

While we were making the triple easel cards at Julia's recent team training, I mentioned to everyone that while triples are rightly stunning, there is an easel that is an absolute show stopper! Everyone looked at me quizzically and their mouths dropped open when I mentioned the QUAD! What the?

I quickly sketched one out and they all asked if I'd do one for them. Sadly, there wasn't time then, but just a day later Julia asked "Fancy doing some crafting?" I didn't really need asking LOL. While she got on with some last minute cards, I quickly worked out the dimensions and began cutting the card pieces for what would become our Easter table centerpiece and it's matching gift box.

Ok, enough chatter, here's the box lid...

A peek inside the box...

And two of the facets when the easels are open...

Card: Thick Whisper White
Ink: Real Red
Stamp sets: All God's Grace (crosses and facet sentiment) Crazy About You (Happy Easter)
Tools and embellishments: Flower from Itty Bitty Accents punches, Ovals Framelits, Fancy Fan TIEF (retired) and Basics Rhinestones
Adhesives: Stampin' Dimensionals and Tombow

I didn't take step by step pix this time, but I am planning on creating a couple similar designs soon, so will at least do a construction pictorial then.

I'll be back soon with another creation, so I hope you'll join me then.

Bright & Beautiful Gift Box

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I absolutely LOVE the Bright & Beautiful Keepsake Luminary that I shared with you last week and wanted to create an equally striking gift box to hold it. So, on Friday I set about designing a prototype, and abandoned my to-do for a few hours. I was really pleased with the basic prototype and the few friends I showed it to loved it too.

So this morning I created the "real thing" from a piece of Window Sheet cut to 12" x 4" and some Very Vanilla card, which I stamped with the smallest star from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set in Versamark and embossed it with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder...

Here's a look inside the box...

Here's the lid...

I absolutely LOVE the result! When the battery tea light in the luminary is lit, it truly is a Bright and Beautiful gift! I'd love to know what you think?

Petite Petals Keepsake Luminary

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The project I'm sharing with you today is another Keepsake Luminary, created with the amazing Curvy Keepsake die from Stampin' Up! In my previous luminary post, which you can see here, I mentioned that the stamp set I'd used then (Bright and Beautiful) is being carried over to the new catalog that goes live in January, but I neglected to mention that the die is too!

This time around I've used a couple of my favorite stamp sets, Petite Petals and Trust God, together with a pop of color from Wisteria Wonder Blendabilities...

I think it looks great as it is, but lighting the battery tea light candle inside adds another dimension...

Going Crackers, Again!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I really enjoy creating anything with the versatile Envelope Punch Board from Stampin' Up!, and as the title of today's post says, I've gone crackers again for today's project! You can see my previous Going Crackers post here.

This time around, I stamped one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge in Versamark and embossed it with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder on Cherry Cobbler card for the cracker bases. I then embossed the sentiment from Making Spirits Bright and punched with the Scallop Oval punch, layering it up with a Very Vanilla Decorative Label.

Bright & Beautiful Keepsake Luminary

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Regular readers may know that the gorgeous Bright and Beautiful stamp set from Stampin' Up! is one of my favorites! I'm REALLY happy that it's being carried over into the new Occasions catalog that will be live in January, proving that it's not just for Christmas!

For today's project, I've teamed the smallest star in the set with a new personal favorite, the Curvy Keepsake die, to create luminaries for battery tea light candles...

After cutting the box pieces I stamped the star in Versamark before embossing it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I think it looks great unlit, but it looks even better lit up...

Curvy Keepsake Reindeer

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and truly do appreciate each of you more than you know!

The project I'm sharing with you today is so cute, even if I do say so myself! It combines three of my current and possibly all time favorite things, the Curvy Keepsake die and Owl and Bird Builder punches from Stampin' Up! I created 8, so my herd of reindeer is 16 strong!

I started the project by punching 16 owl bodies from Baked Brown Sugar card and trimmed feet from them. Then punched the eyes and noses from Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card and used my Baked Brown Sugar Stampin' Write marker to add the detail. For the antlers I punched 32 branches from the Bird builder, half from the remaining Baked Brown Sugar and Half from Crumb Cake.

I then cut and assembled the boxes from Cherry Cobbler card and popped the critters up on a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.

July 4th Decorations

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by today, I'm honored to have you here. I've just put the decorations up ahead of America's birthday tomorrow and as well as the Patriotic candy cups I shared with you earlier in the week I've created a coordinating banner and have also added in some adorable cupcakes I made from card for last year.

Here's the overall view, the pics are of my two youngest kiddos :)

The banner was created using the Crafter's Companion embossing board, Special Treat, with the stars again punched from metallic sticker sheets and scraps of white card. The letters this time are silver peel-offs and I've added Fiskars eyelets and red spotty ribbon from my stash to complete the banner. Here's a close up...

The cupcakes were also embossed using another Crafter's Companion board, Springtime Sweets and Cupcake Treats. The stars were punched from more scraps of card. Here's a close up of those too, which show the embossing...

Patriotic candy cup

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by, it's an honor to have you here :) The project I'm sharing today is the first of a couple I have created ahead of the Independence Day celebrations on Friday.

To create the candy cup I've used the Sweet Things embossing board from Crafter's Companion. Having learned my lesson from previous 3 dimensional projects, I decorated this one BEFORE it was put together and yep, it was so much easier! The lettering I've used is the FREE 4inch Cap template from Craftville (formerly Free Craft Downloads). This is my go to set right now and was also used recently in the Teacher Gift.

I sponged copper ink onto the edges of the two box pieces and the lettering, which give a subtle distressed look. The red and blue stars were punched from metallic sticker sheets that I found at the dollar store, the white from off cuts. I used a standard wet glue to attach the letters and white stars.

I'm REALLY happy with the way it looks, so much so that I've today created another identical one. Well, you can never have too much candy on July 4th :)

Popcorn gift box

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by, it's great to be back again now I've got my creative mojo back! The creation I'm sharing today will accompany the card I shared with you yesterday, if you missed it, you can see it HERE. Instead of using white this time around, I decided on purple, because I think they compliment each other well. I hope you agree?

I've created the box using the Sweet Things embossing board from Crafter's Companion and the tag for the lid and flowers are all from another of their boards, Springtime Sweets and Cupcake Treats. That is the same board I used for the flowers on the card, but I forgot to name the board used yesterday. Oops! The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and it's one of my favorite crafty tools.

To complete the tag I've added a matching eyelet and a gold peel off sentiment. The flowers have been blinged up with some self adhesive gems from my stash. I'm really happy with how the finished creation looks and as the name of the board suggests, it will soon be filled with some sweet treats, though not popcorn.

I'm entering the creation into the following challenges...

HIMCR05NSD - Thank you! at Hiding in My Craft Room

Each box is 3.5" x 3.5" x 1" deep and I absolutely LOVE them!

I hope you have a great weekend and I'll be back on Monday with a Monday Musings post.
