Swaps, Swaps and More Swaps!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I already knew that Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are a very talented bunch, but it's somewhat overwhelming when I have their AMAZING creations in my hands, or all over my desk, as was the case before writing this post!

This is post is image heavy, so grab a beverage of choice and marvel with me at the stunning creations...

This was double sided, with a cookie in the other pocket

3D creations using the Envelope Punch Board, Tag Topper punches and more. The little book on the bottom right holds a tiny stack of post it notes, as does the box second from right on the top row...

Tags, bookmarks and gift holders. The gift holder with "Be you" on in the top row has a seed packet in. The Owl Builder bookmark on the far right is double sided and secured with tiny magnets...

Card toppers...

Card fronts...

Some of my favorite stamp sets have been used, including Butterfly Basics, Kinda Eclectic and Petal Potpourri...

The design top right is created using the beautiful new In Colors and one of the new stamp sets, as does the flower in the center of the bottom row...

The baby card above is a slider card...

I'll be back on Friday with a sneak peek creation, the make and take I created at Telford, so I hope you'll join me then.

Hugs,
Em

RAK Day At 613 Avenue Create

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

The card I'm sharing with you today is my DT creation for latest challenge over at 613 Avenue Create, where this week's theme is RAK Day ~ create something for a friend, neighbor, bank teller, teacher, mailman, etc. Make someone's day with an unexpected treat!

The main image on my card is a freebie from challenge sponsor Faery Ink and I've completed the design with Stampin' Up!'s Gorgeous Grunge and sentiment from the Painted Petals stamp set.

I've also decorated the inside of the card, including another sentiment from Painted Petals...

And created a coordinating gift box for a little gift for the recipient...

Card: Whisper White, Strawberry Slush and Baked Brown Sugar
Ink: Strawberry Slush and Blushing Bride
Main image: Mug of love and gratitude from Faery Ink
Stamp sets: Gorgeous Grunge and Painted Petals
Markers: Crumb Cake, Natural (from Skin Tones) and Pink Pirouette Blendabilities
Tools: Owl Builder Punch (hearts), Decorative Label Punch and Envelope Punch Board

Print image on Whisper White, color using Blendies markers and trim panel to desired size. Stamp image from Gorgeous Grunge randomly around image in Blushing Bride ink. Layer panel onto Baked Brown Sugar card, cut 1/4" bigger than Whisper White panel.
Using the same image from Gorgeous Grunge, create a frame around a piece of Whisper White in Blushing Bride and randomly all over another piece. Attach frame to front and second piece inside the folded Strawberry Slush card blank.
Stamp the sentiments from Painted Petals in Strawberry Slush ink onto more Whisper White card and punch both with the Decorative Label Punch.
Attach main image panel to the card front and add sentiment. Attach sentiment to the inside of the card.
Complete the design with hearts punched from Strawberry Slush card with the Owl Builder Punch.
Create gift box with the Envelope Punch Board and add a stamped panel to the front.

Curvy Keepsake Reindeer

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and truly do appreciate each of you more than you know!

The project I'm sharing with you today is so cute, even if I do say so myself! It combines three of my current and possibly all time favorite things, the Curvy Keepsake die and Owl and Bird Builder punches from Stampin' Up! I created 8, so my herd of reindeer is 16 strong!

I started the project by punching 16 owl bodies from Baked Brown Sugar card and trimmed feet from them. Then punched the eyes and noses from Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card and used my Baked Brown Sugar Stampin' Write marker to add the detail. For the antlers I punched 32 branches from the Bird builder, half from the remaining Baked Brown Sugar and Half from Crumb Cake.

I then cut and assembled the boxes from Cherry Cobbler card and popped the critters up on a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.

For someone special

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know.

When I mentioned in yesterday's post that I'd be sharing a surprise with you today, I had no idea what I'd be sharing with you today! So not only is this creation a surprise for you, it pretty much is for me too!

I absolutely love the card I shared with you yesterday, so when I got into the studio this morning I decided to change it up a bit and use the Hardwood stamp and Owl Builder Punch from Stampin' Up for today's creation. I've kept the subtle colors from yesterday, Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe and Crumb Cake and added in some Pistachio Pudding.

The sentiment today is from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set as it truly fits the recipient and I've stamped that and the background in Crumb Cake and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. The flowers are once again from Petite Petals and have been stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and the branches are from the Bird Builder punch. Basic Rhinestones add the finishing touch of sparkle.
