Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

I have completely fallen in love with the gorgeous bloom in the You've Got This stamp set from Stampin' Up! I went for a subtle look this time, but the photo makes it look even more subtle! The petals aren't white, but instead colored with Soft Sky reinker...

Wondrously Dotty Bargains!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Everyone loves a bargain. Right? Two of my favorite Stampin' Up products, the Wondrous Wreath framelits and Decorative Dots TIEF are included in this week's Weekly Deals, as well as some other great items, so I thought I'd share a few of my past creations made with them. Click the images to be taken to the posts..

This one was the FIRST I created with one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Gorgeous Grunge!

This one uses one of the sentiments from the stamp set, but could easily be switched out for any celebration

This one is one of my more recent creations and features another favorite, Four Feathers

All the products I've used for today's creations are available 24/7 in my Online Shop. Click the images below to be taken straight to them.

Lotus Blossom Thank You

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!

Today's card is the last (BOO!) of Lotus Blossom week and it's another gorgeous card, if I do say so myself! Having used just one color for the other four creations, I've used 2 for today's card, Strawberry Slush and Blackberry Bliss, so you could say this card is berry-licious!

Card: Whisper White, folded base, panel and extra for stamping
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Blackberry Bliss and Crumb Cake
Markers: Strawberry Slush Stampin' Write (from 2013-2015 In Color pack) and Blackberry Bliss (from 2014-2016 In Color pack)
Stamp sets: Lotus Blossom, Hardwood and Painted Petals (sentiment).
Tools: Flower Medallion Punch (available separately or as part of the Petal Potpourri bundle) and Paper Snips

Stamp the step one Lotus Blossom stamp in Blackberry Bliss onto Whisper White. Complete the blossoms with Strawberry Slush ink, stamped off once. Fussy cut with Paper snips.
Stamp the Hardwood onto the panel in Crumb Cake. Punch with the Flower Medallion near an and and trim to even if need be. KEEP the punch out for another project! Attach panel to folded base card.
Ink the sentiment stamp with the Strawberry Slush marker, then color the "thank", top and bottom of the "you" with the Blackberry Bliss marker. Stamp in the aperture.
Attach the blossoms with Mini Glue Dots.

It's so hard for me to choose a favorite from the five very different cards I've created with a stamp set that's become a new favorite! Can you help me choose, please? Here's a reminder of the others (click on pix to be taken to the post for details)...

Beautiful Wings Screen Card

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know!

If you're a regular visitor here you might be aware that I love entering my creations into challenges. Most often I'll design a card and then see if there are any current challenges it fits. However, this card was designed for a specific challenge over at Butterfly challenge.

I LOVE the Beautiful Wings Embosslit from Stampin' Up! and this is the first time I've used it with some of our DSP, which was included in some happy mail from a friend that I received a few weeks ago.

I created the 6" tall screen card base from Very Vanilla card and the Decorative Label punch, then added Crumb Cake panels stamped in the same ink with our Hardwood background stamp. I cut more butterflies from the left over card and added them to the card using Tombo glue.

Garland with Wondrous Wreath

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly appreciate each of you more than you know.

The card I'm sharing with you today is the first I've created in what I'm calling my "semi studio", now that my work area is in my living room. It's also the first I've created for some time with the gorgeous Wondrous Wreath stamp and die bundle from Stampin' Up! You can see the others here.

I created a tent card base from Crumb Cake card, then stamped it in the same color ink with the Hardwood background stamp, before adding the additional vertical panels which I'd stamped onto another piece of card.

I stamped the wreath in Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler inks on Very Vanilla card, and then carefully cut it in half. The bows were cut from a snippet of Cherry Cobbler card and both those and the wreath sections are popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the design I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in Cherry Cobbler ink on more Crumb Cake card.

I'm really happy with the look and I'd love to know what you think.

For someone special

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know.

When I mentioned in yesterday's post that I'd be sharing a surprise with you today, I had no idea what I'd be sharing with you today! So not only is this creation a surprise for you, it pretty much is for me too!

I absolutely love the card I shared with you yesterday, so when I got into the studio this morning I decided to change it up a bit and use the Hardwood stamp and Owl Builder Punch from Stampin' Up for today's creation. I've kept the subtle colors from yesterday, Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe and Crumb Cake and added in some Pistachio Pudding.

The sentiment today is from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set as it truly fits the recipient and I've stamped that and the background in Crumb Cake and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. The flowers are once again from Petite Petals and have been stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and the branches are from the Bird Builder punch. Basic Rhinestones add the finishing touch of sparkle.

More pocket cards

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by today and for all your comments. I truly appreciate each of you more than you know.

Those of you who have been following my blog for awhile will recall that when I try something new, I do quite a few in the same style, and following on from yesterday's post, I'm sharing another couple pocket cards with you today...

The Blended Bloom above has been colored with Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities and I've used Cherry Cobbler layered with Whisper White for the insert card and belly band. The colors in the one below are Coastal Cabana Blendabilities and Lost Lagoon card. I've again used the Hardwood background stamp and sentiments from the Good Greetings set, stamped in Crumb Cake ink for both,

Out of the three I've shared with you, I think the Coastal Cabana/ Lost Lagoon combo is my favorite. I'd love to know which is your favorite. Please leave a comment and let me know.

All the products I've used are available 24/7 in my online shop. Click the images below to be taken straight to them.

Pocket card

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by today and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate all of you!

I've seen a lot of gorgeous pocket cards recently and I couldn't wait to give the technique a go myself. I've cased this one from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, so thanks Caroline for the inspiration!

The Envelope Punch Board makes creating these cards quick and easy. When I'd decided on the size of pocket, punched and scored it, I used the Hardwood stamp and Crumb Cake ink to stamp all over the pocket...

I cut the insert card and belly band from Whisper White and one of this year's new In Colors, Tangelo Twist, layering them up. I then used the Calypso Coral Blendabilities to color the Blended Bloom, which I'd stamped in Memento ink on more Whisper White card. The small sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set which is available FREE until the end of October with orders over £200.
