Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I'm honored to have you here and I truly appreciate each of you more than you know!
For today's card I've used one of the stamp sets from Stampin' Up, Gifts of Kindness, that I got with my starter kit when I joined. It's one of the sets that won't be available after the new catalog launches in a few days and I'll admit that it's been a while since I've used it. I've stamped it in one of my favorite outgoing In Colors, Strawberry Slush and yep, that's the slushy part of the post title!
Card: Whisper White and Strawberry Slush
Ink: Strawberry Slush
Stamp set: Gifts of Kindness
Tools and embellishments: Scallop Oval and Decorative Label punches and Basic Pearls
Adhesive: Stampin' Dimensionals

Whatever you're doing this weekend, have a great one! I'll be back on Sunday with my latest DT creation for 613 Avenue Create, so I hope you'll join me then.
Hugs,
Em

"Happy Mail" Bear with Blendabilities
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know!
The card I'm sharing with you today is my fifth "Blendie" creation of the week. I'm sure if you didn't already know I love those markers from Stampin' Up! after a full week of creations with them, you do now! You can see this weeks and all my other Blendie creations here.
I received the bear stamp in some "happy mail" from my friend Claire and my new Skin Tone markers arrived the same day (as well as more goodies I'll share with you over the coming weeks). Perfect timing!
I stamped them in Memento ink onto Very Vanilla card and colored him with the Blush, Bronze and Mocha pens from the set, then fussy cut them. I then stamped three of the flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set onto more Very Vanilla, colored them with Melon Mambo blendies and punched them with the matching punch.
To complete the scene I cut a 4 1/2" square card and used two shades of the Old Olive blendies for the grass and flower stem. Then stamped the sentiment from Gifts of Kindness in Melon Mambo ink, before popping the bears and flowers up with Stampin' Dimensionals. The card base is a 5" square of Crumb Cake with a 4 3/4" square layer of Crisp Cantaloupe.
All the products I've used are available 24/7 in my Online Shop. Click the images below to be taken straight to them.
I've really enjoyed sharing a week full of blendie creations with you and I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have?
Whatever you're doing this weekend, have a great one and I'll be back on Monday with another special card, so I hope you'll join me then.
Hugs,
Em x

For someone special
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate each of you more than you know.
When I mentioned in yesterday's post that I'd be sharing a surprise with you today, I had no idea what I'd be sharing with you today! So not only is this creation a surprise for you, it pretty much is for me too!
I absolutely love the card I shared with you yesterday, so when I got into the studio this morning I decided to change it up a bit and use the Hardwood stamp and Owl Builder Punch from Stampin' Up for today's creation. I've kept the subtle colors from yesterday, Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe and Crumb Cake and added in some Pistachio Pudding.
The sentiment today is from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set as it truly fits the recipient and I've stamped that and the background in Crumb Cake and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. The flowers are once again from Petite Petals and have been stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and the branches are from the Bird Builder punch. Basic Rhinestones add the finishing touch of sparkle.

Fall wreath
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your comments. I truly appreciate each of you more than you know.
The card I'm sharing with you today isn't the one I thought I would be, because that isn't quite ready yet (I'm waiting on my latest UPS delivery of Stampin' Up! goodies), but instead it's another Wondrous Wreath creation.
The set isn't just for Christmas, it can be used for any season or occasion, simply by changing the colors used. Here I've colored directly onto the base wreath stamp with the new 2014 - 2016 In Color markers, Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist, then used the Mossy Meadow marker for the second layer. The berries on the wreath and base card are the Blackberry Bliss marker.
The sentiments, again colored with Tangelo Twist are taken from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set (thank you), and the hostess set Bloom with Hope. The bow from the Framelits set is cut from a scrap of Blackberry Bliss card and I've added a layer of it to the folded Whisper White base before adding the top layer.

Quick card
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments. I truly do appreciate all of you!
The card I'm sharing with you today took just minutes to create using two of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors, Strawberry Slush and Crumb Cake and on this dull day they sure do brighten things up...
The main image is from Gifts of Kindness, the sentiment from the hostess set Bloom with Hope, and the chevrons are from the Work of Art set. I've layered the Whisper White panel onto Strawberry Slush card then onto a folded card blank. I'm really pleased with the result and hope you like it too!

Thinking of you
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by today and for all your wonderful comments. I really do appreciate all of you so much!
The card I'm sharing with you today is the first I've created with my latest Stampin' Up goodies...
All items used are available to by in My Shop, which is always open.
Baked Brown Sugar and Strawberry Slush card (from the In Color 2013-2015 pack) 131289
Whisper White card 106549
Memento ink 132708
Bloom with Hope clear stamp set (hostess gift) 133952
In Color 2013-2015 Stampin' Write markers 131260 (Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding used)
Beautiful Wings embosslit 118138
Gifts of kindness clear stamp 130444 (sentiment)
Stampin' Dimensionals 104430
I stamped the images twice onto whisper white card and used the brush end of the markers to color the images. Because of the sketchy nature of the stamps, I deliberately didn't go right to all the edges and at times went over, but I think it suits the image.
I cut the flowers from the second set and have popped them up using dimensionals, cutting to size when needed. The whisper white and baked brown sugar card layers have also been popped up with dimensionals and I added the butterflies to complete the look.

Brighter tomorrow...
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by today, it's an honor to have you here! This is very much a period of transition for me and our family, but for me it is in another way too, as I've recently joined Stampin' Up as an Independent Demonstrator. I'm still getting to grips with everything behind the scenes with that, so please do bear with me.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my upline, Vicky Hayes and all the Pinkies team for all your support and indeed patience these last few weeks. Each of you, and all of you, my regular readers and friends are helping me look to the days ahead.
I created this card yesterday and it's so appropriate for me personally at this time...
Recipe ~ All available in My Shop
Whisper white card 106549 ~ Petite Petals Clear stamp set 133155 ~ Gifts of Kindness Clear stamp set 130444 (sentiment) ~ Night of Navy Blendabilities ~ Pearl Basic Jewels 119247 (colored with the medium Night of Navy Blendability ~ Memento Black Ink 132708
Method
I started by stamping the sentiment in the center of a piece of card then randomly stamping the adorable petite bloom around it and also onto some spare Whisper White card. I colored the extra ones in the lightest Night of Navy Blendability, then cut them out and stuck them over 3 on the card. I've colored the centers of the other flowers using either the light or medium shade and then added the pearls. Before adhering the panel to the base I carefully went around the edge with the brush tip of the lightest shade.
Today is the first day that products are available from the new seasonal catalog and I'll be bringing you some inspiration from that as soon as I can. In the meantime I have lots more creations to share with you from the main catalog. Here's to a brighter tomorrow for all of us...
