Hi everyone,
This is the first time I've seen my website since I handed control to my amazingly talented friend Naomi from Creative Bug on the Loose for the revamp and I'm truly lost for words! Wow, wow, wow!!!
Thank you isn't enough, but I'll say it anyway... THANK YOU SWEETHEART! Not only for this amazing, stunning makeover of my site, one of the best birthday gifts I've EVER had, but also for your support during what has been a very difficult time! I love you so much! While you've been working on the site, I've been working on my own surprise for you and although that isn't ready yet, it will be soon and I'm sorry, but there won't be any sneaky peeks for you as you've shown me lol!
While I've been away from the site I've been getting back into the studio and will be sharing some of my creations with you soon, as well as sharing pix of Dad's book of condolence. Thanks again for ALL your support, prayers and hugs during what has been a very difficult time. Each of you means so much to me!
Now Naomi's joined me here, I'm not letting her go! She's stuck with me and will hopefully be posting occasionally, not that she knows it yet! We'd LOVE to know what you think of the new site, so please do let us know by leaving a comment. I'd also like you to please stop by her Facebook page and leave her some love, telling her I sent you :)
My birthday has barely begun, but already it's the BEST ever! To celebrate, grab yourself a slice of cake...
Hugs,

Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by. Today I'm sharing some more of the cards I created with the same kit I showed you in last Friday's post Hidden gem. In that post, I didn't include the name of the kit, because I couldn't remember it. It's a member's gift from Hunkydory Crafts and is the Dragonfly Dance collection, but is unfortunately no longer available.
I created the cards for three very beautiful ladies, my sister Gayle and nieces Nicole and Megan and they were sent for Nicole's birthday, arriving right on time on her special day. The only extras I used from my stash are the holographic silver card and the gems I added. I love them all and I'm very happy to say the girls all did too :)
Tomorrow, I'm expecting delivery of some new crafting goodies, so in my next post, I'll share some of the creations I can already see in my mind.
Hugs,
Em

Monday Musings - July 4th
Hi everyone,
Before we get started with this week's Monday Musings topic, I'll just give you a quick note about some housekeeping I've done here on the blog. A few of you have commented that links in the posts have not been easy to find, so I've now changed the color of them to light grey, so they are much easier to find. I hope this helps.
Ok, now that's been dealt with, let's get into Musing...
This coming Thursday, July 4th, is a very important holiday for me. Some people may wonder why, as someone based in the UK, I celebrate American Independence from the country of my birth? The answer to that question can, in part, be found in a previous Musings post, the first in the series, Introducing me. If you've read that, you'll know that I feel more American than British and I sound it too! What I didn't say, in so many words, in that post, is that life for me prior to the time zone switch had been rough, very rough, emotionally. The decision was one that changed my life, so much, for the better. Just days after making the switch, I celebrated my first July 4th as an adopted American.
The day holds so much importance for me, because I'm not only celebrating Americas's Independence, but MINE too, I celebrate taking control of my life.
Before concluding this post, I want to share what I think, beside The Star Spangled Banner, is one of the most patriotic songs, God bless the USA!
Hugs,
Em
